Osama Bin Laden calls for boycott of U.S. dollars to end "slavery"
The head of the Islamist Al Qaeda network, Osama bin Laden called for a boycott of the dollar to end "slavery" imposed on the world by the use of U.S. currency in a recording broadcast Friday by Al Jazeera television.
"We should stop using the dollar and get rid of it (...). I know that would have strong repercussions, but that's the only way to free humanity from bondage (...) to the U.S. and its businesses, "said Bin Laden on the tape broadcast by Arabic television channel based in Doha.
The head of the network that perpetrated the attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington also accused indistrializadas nations to be the global warming.
"All industrialized countries, especially the larger ones, are responsible for global warming crisis," he said.
